Laminating is important to protect and weatherproof posters, banners etc.

What are the benefits of laminating?

• Lamination protects prints
• It preserves them
• Deepens and brightens colors
• Keeps creases and wrinkles to a minimum
• Makes prints more durable and water resistant
• Weatherproofs prints

Prints can be overlaminated or encapsulated ( laminated on both sides) using hot or cold adhesive laminates.

A number of different media is available in gloss, semi-gloss or lustre and matte finishes. Laminate thickness may be 3 mil, 5 mil and 10 mil depending on purpose.

Special textured laminates are used for floor graphics and for trade show booths. Roll up banners also last longer with the added protection of lamination.
